After growing up in sunny but smoggy Southern California, Amy has found her fresh air in the great plains of Nebraska, where she and her high-school-teacher husband, Cale, have lived for the past nine years. After a 6-year career in the communication department at the Mid-America Union, Amy is now a stay-at-home-mom with her son, Vincent, as well as maintaining a freelance career in writing, editing and graphic design.
She enjoys hybrid cars, green tea, line dancing, snow sports, board games, percussion instruments and reading, and recreationally studies nutrition, natural remedies and early church history in her spare time. Someday soon she hopes to complete her master’s in Nutrition and Health Sciences at the University of Nebraska.
Aside from the Bible, Amy’s favorite books are Tuesdays with Morrie, The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, Steps to Christ and The China Study.
